CampInteractive is a non-profit organization that, during the summer, takes principally African American and Latino teenagers on two-week outward-bound type trips followed by two weeks of learning how to render their experiences in web and video formats.  During the school year it runs a number of after-school programs at its headquarters in the Bronx.

Cat Rock Leadership Academy

CatRock Leadership Academy is a select group of 10 students who demonstrate a passion and commitment to the outdoors and technology, and have a desire to learn more. The CatRock students attend monthly outdoor expeditions and leadership trainings, become certified in first aid and CPR, and will go on to assist on outdoor trips and technology classes. Most importantly, alumni serve as role models and mentors to younger students.

Kingsbridge International

Kingsbridge International High School is a diverse school made up of students from Latin America, Africa, and Asia. English is their second language, and most have been in the U.S. for only a short time. Many have their first experience in the outdoors through ICO and thoroughly enjoy it.

PS 241 is made up of 5th through 8th graders from the surrounding Harlem neighborhood and beyond. We have a seasoned group of hikers along with some who were introduced to the trips this year. We have a wonderful time challenging ourselves and enjoying the outdoors and each other's company on all of our trips! We always look forward to new volunteers joining our group!

Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation

The mission of Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation is to engage students in a challenging curriculum centered on wildlife conservation and cultivate their life skills, so that every graduate is ready for success in college, has been exposed to the wonders of the natural sciences, and is an independent adult who acts respectfully with regard to his or her community.
